"ZIMMER. - On Nov. 27, 1882, at the residence of his son-in-law, Henry Eby, Bernhard Zimmer, in Elkhart township, Ind., of old age, 83 years, 6 months and 7 days. Deceased was a native of the Duteby of Baden, Germany. He came to this country in the spring of 1854, locating in Henry county, O. where a large circle his friends still reside. He resided about two years in Illinois, and located in Noble county, this State about twenty years ago. Remaining a resident thereof up to the time of his death. He was reared in the faith of the Catholic church and adhered to it until the end. In his daily walks of life he was a general favorite and highly esteemed for his many good qualities of mind and heart."
