Obituary: Liberty Center was greatly pained at the death of Mrs. C. C. Young which occurred Friday, the 13th inst. She had been an invalid for many years and for the past year has been in very poor health, hence her death not altogether unexpected. The funeral was held at the Methodist church in Liberty Center Sunday, Rev. St. Clair in charge of the ceremonies, and the remains were interred in the city cemetery. Mrs. Young was born in Pitcher, N. Y., Sept. 13. 1826, and was married to C. C. Young February C. 1848. She is the mother eight children, six of whom are still living. She was of a most charitable and christian disposition, and many are they who miss her kindness. The community deeply sympathizes with the bereft husband and children in their great affliction. In testimony of their great grief, at a regular meeting of Liberty Center lodge No, 518, F. & A. M., held January 16th, 1893, A. 5896 [sic], the following preamble and resolution was adopted: Whereas, it has pleased the Grand Master of the universe to call from the active duties life to eternal rest, the wife of our esteemed worthy brother C. C. Young, therefore be it resolved. That the members of Liberty Center lodge No. 518, F. & A. M.. hereby extend to brother Young our heartfelt sympathy and consolation in this, his bereavement. it further resolved. That this resolution be spread upon the minutes of the lodge, and a copy presented to brother Young. D. E. Haag |
