An Old Resident Dead

Lawrence Westerman, one of the oldest settlers of Henry county, died at the residence of his son-in-law, Christ. Hoffman, in Toledo last Sunday, aged 85 years, 4 months and 15 days.

Mr. Westerman was born in Baden, Germany, Nov. 23rd, 1808, and moved from that country to Henry county in 1854, making this county his home until within a few years ago when he went to Toledo to live with his son-in-law, Mr. Hoffman. The cause of his death was paralysis. Funeral services were held from St. Augustine's church, Wednesday morning, Rev. Fr. Puetz officiating.
