WEAVER. James Weaver was born in Delaware county, Ohio, April 10th, 1830, and died on January 31st, 1888, in Henry county, Ohio, aged 57 years, 10 months and 21 days. He died of consumption. His funeral was attended by a large concourse of neighbors, the service being conducted by Elder A. M. Dick, with a short exhortation by Elder E. J. Hill. The sermon was preached from the text: 'For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.' Phillipians 1, 21. After which the neighbors and friends took their last look at the remains. He leaves a large number of friends and relatives and a dear kind loving wife and six children, brothers and sisters in the church to mourn their loss.
