James P. Watson, of Harrison township, died on Friday evening last, after being a sufferer for many years with heart disease. He was an old resident of this county, and at one time quite a prominent democratic politician. During the war he served his country, and it was in the service that his health failed. His funeral took place on Sabbath last and was attended by a large concourse of friends and acquaintances who wished to pay their last respects to the memory, of a neighbor and a brother.
