WAKER -- In Harrison township, on Oct. 5, 1882, Barbara Amanda, wife of Wm. Walker, aged 51 years, 8 months and 2 days. She had been severely afflicted for several months with dropsy, which she bore with Christian patience and resignation. She had been a member of the M. E. Church for many years. An aged mother, a husband and five children mourn her death. But one of the family witnessed the departure of the one they loved. When all around was hushed in profound stillness, God summoned her spirit home without a moment's warning. O, the angulsh of that sad home, who can portray it? In our country graveyard she sleeps quietly snd peacefully. Rest in peace, sweet sainted mother, and much as we deplore thy loss we would not take theefrom the arms of thy Redeemer.
