Death of a Priest.

Father Verlet, priest of the Catholic Church on the South Ridge, died at his home on Saturday morning last, of consumption, with which fell disease he had been afflicted for a long time. He was well and favorably knownin this part of the State and his death is much regretted by many friends. His funeral took place on Tuesday.
