FATAL ACCIDENT - Last week Mrs. PETER VANDENBROEK, of this place, went to visit her mother in Auglaize county. On Friday, in company with her mother, she took a 4 o'clock lunch to the hands in the harvest field, and while there, sitting on the ground near the reaper, the horses, which were attached to it, took fright and ran away, running over the ladies, the knives of the machine cutting them in a most frightful manner. The mother died almost instantly, and Mrs. VANDENBROEK lived until Sunday, when death relieved her of her sufferings. She was an estimable lady, and much beloved by those who knew her in this place, her home. Her friends will be shocked to learn of her frightful and untimely death.
