Van Wagoner. - On Thursday, April 4th, Mrs. Rebecca, wife of Moses Van Wagoner, aged 81 years and 14 days. She was born in Lycoming county, Pa., March 20th, 1808; while yet quite young her parents moved to Fairfield couty, O., where she lived until 1860, when she was united in marriage with Moses Van Wagoner. They moved to Sandusky county where in the year 1863 she united with the Baptist church; she has always lived a christian life and was ready when death came to go and join the loved ones gone before. Her husband preceded her two years before and now she has gone to join him in that better land. Funeral services by Rev. George Miller; her remains were interred in the Liberty Center cemetery, and there only waiting until the day of resurrection to reap her eternal reward. She leave 4 children, 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and many other relatives to mourn her loss, but what is their loss is her eternal gain.
