In Harrison township, Henry county, Ohio, Nov. 29, 1885, of consumption, Frank H. Van Pelt, aged abont 28 years. For a number of months he had been suffering with that dread disease, consumption, and although attended by eminent physicians, a loving companion and kind parents, who did what they could to stay the hand ot the destroyer. Yet slowly but surely disease was fastening its grasp upon that one so dear to kindred hearts; one so kind and affable to others as to gather about him a host of friends. It was the privilege of the writer to visit him number of times during his affliction; to read the rich promises found in the volume of inspiration until his hope lay hold of those promises, and with faith in Christ as his Savior could meet death with calmness, without fear, and accept of christian baptism in obedience to the divide command.
