Mrs. SALLIE TOM, (colored), residing near Carthagenia, this county died on the 7th inst., at the advanced age of 132 years. She was born near Mobile, Alabama, in the year 1739, and lived for many years among the Indians of that then uninhabited region. She had resided in this county, up to the time of her demise, about twenty-one years, and retained all her faculties to the last moment. Her photograph may be seen at M.
