Obituary:

TITTLE. In Flatrock township. Dec. 5th, 1890, James Albert Tittle, born July 29th,1862, ad died at the age of 28 years, 4 months and 6 days.

The deceased leaves father, mother and three brother, to mourn the loss of a kind brother. Two brothers and six sisters have already preceded him to the Better Land. The remains were taken to Adams Ridge, Defiance County, Ohio. The life of Albert Tittle needs no comment ? he was well known and loved by all who knew him. His history is one of those plain simple stories, the chief charm of which is its very lack of incident. He was a young man, well liked and all who knew him respected him, and when he departed this early life everyone paid glowing tribute to him with warm affections and earnest devotions.

Farewell, dear Albert, thou art gone, thy sufferings all are o'er,
Thy friends who knew and loved thee, will find thee here no more.
Here at rest, his sufferings over ? no more pain for him to bear,
Why mourn we then we who loved him, if he's in Heaven no sorrow there.

But we miss thee from our home, we miss thee from thy place,
It was the Saviour who called him, called him to quit this earthly home.
Could tears and prayers have held him here, he would not have passed away,
Could love have bound him to this earth, he would have been ours to-day.

Dear readers we all alike must die,
Perhaps our hour is very nigh.
A cold coffin will be our bed,
An icy pillow to rest our head.
