Word was received in this city on Monday by Josiah Koller that O. Thompson had died on Aug. 31st at the home of his son in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Thompson but a short time before had been east on a visit, and for quite a while was sick in this city, getting better, left for his western home. He was formerly proprietor of the Thompson House at this place, coming here from Wauseon, where he had been in the hotel business. He was in the 63d year his age.
