Killed in the 21st Ohio -- Below we give a list of the killed in the 21st Ohio Regiment at the battle of Murfreesboro.

Company A -- Sergeant Diebley, Daniel Swartz, William Bradford, Absalom Kleckner, Erastus Beggs. Company B -- Frank C. Arnold. Company C -- Corporal S. Hodge, Lieutenant Enoch B. Wiley. Company D -- William Trask. Company E -- Wilson S. Musser, Wesley Johnson. Company F. Edson G. Reed, Saul Scondon [Solomon is official records], J. C. Wilkison, Cyrus Stokes. Company G. Joseph Heminger [Jonas in official records], William R. Thomas, Lewis Wallace. Company H -- John H. Kromer, Nicholas Vogle, Sergeant Silas McDonald, Corporal William Taylor. Company I - Alenson J. Veon, Elias Jackson. Company K -- Sergeant David Loomis, Samuel Burk.

Ex Sheriff Neibling of Findlay, Hancock county, is Colonel of the 21st, having succeeded Col. Norton, who resigned a short time since. The gallantry displayed by Col. Neibling during the battle is very highly spoken of.
