Death of Elam Tanner. We have learned the following particulars of the death of Mr. Elam Tanner, in addition to short notice of his death last week. Mr. Tanner had been visiting at New Madison, Ind., for about one week when one day he was found missing and search being made his lifeless body was found in the outhouse, death being caused by something like an apoplexy. His son, Mr. Thomas G. Tanner, of this place, was notified of his father's sudden death, and be at once went to New Madison, from which place he had the body conveyed to Pleasant Hill, Licking county, his old home, where the burial took place on the 1st inst. Mr. Tanner was aged 80 years, 4 months and 24 days.
