SWORDEN, In Liberty township, March 24, 1882, Americus V. Sworden, aged 25 years, 6 months and 29 days. He leaves a wife, two children, brothers, sisters and many friends to mourn his departure. He embraced the Christian religion six weeks before his death. Funeral services at the Skater's School House on Sabbath at 11 o'clock a. m. His remains were then taken to the Morrison grave yard to await the bright resurrection morn.
