Floyd Stout, infant son of George W. and Cora Stout, was born March 12th, 1885, died of cholera infantum Sep. 28th, 1885, aged 6 months and 17 days. This is the first little flower plucked from this family of children, and caused the parents to mourn. But 'ere these little feet had learned the ways of sin the messenger of death called him away. It is only another bud taken from earth to bloom in paradise and beckon its parents upward.

In a little grave we laid him,
Wee hands hold sweet white flowers;
Sweeter far than all around him
Was this baby boy of ours.
