MURDER AT DEFIANCE. A dispatch dated Defiance, Nov. l9th, says: Our city was thrown into intense excitement this morning by the announcement that Anselm Snyder had died from being assaulted Saturday night in most brutal manner by four young men, Frank and Sam Lautz, Jeff and Oat Fleming. As they came out of the Crosby House they knocked him down and kicked and beat him about the head, face and stomach until he was unconscious. Medical aid was summoned but he expired at 9 o'clock today. The prisoners are lodged in jail.
