SIFORD Harvey G. Siford, infant son of Joseph and Hannah Siford, was born Nov. 11th, 1889, and died September 5th, 1890, aged 9 months and 24 days.

One thing that makes this funeral occasion doubly sad, was that the mother died when this child was three months old It's grandmother, Mrs. Lah Brubaker took the little child to raise, done all for it that hands could do to make it comfortable. But short was his stay with her; but how loved was its form ? it was hard to say good bye, little HarveyHe came forth like a flower and was cut down; the lamp of light went out in childhood and he entered the Gates Ajar, and thus another jewel has been set in heavenGod grant that the father, children and friends as they approach the banks of the river, may be able to brush the mist from their brows in safety, and hail them to the sweet by and by.

Our home has lost its brightness,
?And life of half of its charms,
Since the Saviour took our Harvey,
In his loving tender arms.
