On the 18th inst. the dead body of Fred Schnitke was discovered in an unoccupied barn on the farm of the widow Weekman, in Ridgeville township, this county. Justice Wolf was notified, who held an inquest, the result of which brought out facts going to show that the young man had committed suicide about a week before the finding of the body. That he had some hard words with relatives the day before be killed himself, which no doubt was the immediate cause of his doing the rash act. He shot himself through the head with a revolver. The unfortunate young man was about 21 years of age.
