Obituary: Theodore G. Rutter Theodore "Dock" Rutter, 77, Deshler, died Wednesday evening in Wood County Hospital. Born in Pleasant Township, Hancock County, on May 29, 1911, he was the son of Lee and Lois (Rader) Rutter. On March 21, 1930, he married Beatrice Spears, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 29, 1986. Rutter had been a tool and die maker with the Hilrich Tool & Die Co. of Michigan, retiring in 1978. He was a member or the First Baptist Church or Bowling Green and the UAW Local 155 Detroit Wayne Tool & Die. Surviving are a son, Gerald N. of Deshler, two daughters, Marilyn Henry of Deshler and Barbara Shelly of Findlay; two brothers, Frank of Leipsic and Richard or Palm City, Fla.; a sister, Beverly Gee of Fremont; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Howard and Earl. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Bloor Funeral Home, Deshler, Rev. Darrell Prichard officiating. Interment will be in Weston Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9.m. today and 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday. |
