John W. Rush, aged 63, who suffered a stroke Tuesday of last week at his home, 4 1/2 miles northwest of Holgate, died the following day at 8:15 in the morning. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from St. Peter's Lutheran Church conducted by Rev. Strauss. Mr. Rush was born on the same farm where he died, and since the death of his parents had farmed the place. Among the four sisters who survive are Mrs. Ruth Bissonnette and Mrs. Alice Armbruster of Napoleon and Mrs. Harry Cunningham of Florida. Two daughters and a son and three brothers also survive.
