Harriet, wife of G.V. Rudolph. was born December 3, 1846, in Fairfield Co., O., and departed this life at her late residence in Damascus township Henry Co. O.. the 22nd of August 1891, aged 44 yrs., 8 months and 17 days. She was married to G. V. Rudolph June 10, 1869. With her husband she moved to this county in the Fall of 1870. She united with the church of Christ of the Christian Union, twenty years ago. She lived an exemplary and devoted christian life. Her home was always made welcome to the christian work. She was kind and always ready to add to the comfort and happiness of others, being much attached to her family and home. Her late and short illness she endured with much patience, and when she realized that the time of her departure had come, she said to her family and friends, "don't grieve, I am prepared to go." She leaves an affectionate husband, two children, her mother, one sister, two brothers and many friends to mourn their loss, but what is their loss is her gain . Funeral services conducted at the home by Rev. G. W. Foltz to a large and sympathizing congregation of relatives and friends, after which her remains were taken to the Big Creek cemetery for interment.
