Daniel Rose, living north of the railroad died Sunday from the effects of dropsy. He was a member of the Grand Army, having served in Company B, 68th O. V. I. He was in the 52d year of his age. Funeral services were held at the Evangelical church, Monday, Rev. Stull, officiating. The Choate Post was in charge of the ceremonies.
