Obituary:

Died at her home in New Haven, Indiana, September 24th, 1891, Mrs. Inez Randall Rogers, wife of Willie S. Rogers. The deceased was born in Napoleon, O., Feb. 26, 1855, where she resided until her marriage May 12, 1881, when she went to her new home in New Haven, Ind., where she has since lived a life of unalloyed happiness.

"But now the golden bowl is broken,
?The spirit lied forever."

?At a period when life seemed most pleasant, surrounded by a large circle of friends which kept widening as the years rolled, and her life so beautiful in its consistency became better known, while in the very fullness of an active useful life, Inez Rogers, better known in Napoleon as Inez Randall, was summoned to life eternal. All her happy girlhood days were passed in our midst, and at each successive step in life from the days of childish innocence and purity until the full fruition of?womanhood we have known and loved her. Always a close student she graduated early in life from Stubenville Seminary in the class of 1876. May the memory of her life, so fraught with good, so strong in its very simplicity, incite us to nobler lives and higher aspirations.
That she was fully appreciated by her friends and neighbors in her new home was testified to by the following floral offerings at her funeral: Pillow, White Carnation and Tuba roses with word Inez in purple. Anchor of Tea roses. Massive piece by Charity Lodge No. 17, D. R. A bank of Tea roses and Carnations with three links in pink surmounted with flying dove with olive branch in mouth. Fan, by neighbors, composed of various flowers. Spray tea roses from friends. Tea roses and Calla lillies in bouquet, Sickle of tea roses and carnations with sheaf of wheat.
