On the 24th of May, 1889, in McClure, Ohio, John W. Roberts, aged 55 years, 11 months and 8 days. The deceased wall born in North Wales. He was married to Miss Melvina Yost in Bucyrus, Crawford county, Ohio, Nov. 17th, 1859 [the year is a guess]. They had 12 children, 8 of whom had passed to the other shore to await their coming. A companion, 7 children and a large circle of relatives are left to mourn their loss. Funeral services were held at McClure and conducted by Rev. J. W. Myers, to a large concourse of people.
