Death of Mrs. Joshua Rhodes

Friends and acquaintances were grieved to learn of the death of the wife of Joshua Rhodes on Saturday last. Mrs. Rhodes bad been a sufferer for some time, her ailment culminating in dropsy of the heart, which resulted in death. Mrs. Rhodes was born in Maryland in 1814, was married to the husband she leaves in 1837, and was the mother of five children, two having preceded her to their long rest. She has resided in Henry county for the past 27 years, and was a lady respected by all. The funeral took place from the family residence, on the Kalida pike, on Sabbath, Rev. Donahey conducting the services. The remains were followed to the grave by a large concourse of friends and acquaintances.
