Mrs. Anna Maria Rettig, wife of Mr. Adam Rettig, Sr., born in Lindenfels Herzogthum Hessen, died in Flatrock township, Henry Co., Ohio, aged 63 years, 10 months and 28 days. Spinal, or brain fever and other difficulties set in, yet in the first days of suffering it was hoped that she might be spared awhile longer to her family, but the Master ordered it otherwise; she died June 11th, She was a member of the German Reformed Church and led an earnest life. She leaves a husband, 10 children, 40 grand-children and 9 great-grand-children who deeply feel the stroke. Many of her friends and neighbors came to the funeral service and followed her to her resting place. May she rest in peace. N. Wiers, Pastor
