REED. Rhoda Rosetta Reed, daughter of Marshal and Ann Reed born in Henry county, Ohio, December 23, 1875, died October 26, 1890, of quick consumption aged 14 years, 10 months and 3 days. One brother and six sisters are left to mourn the loss of a kind sister; five have already preceded her to the the better land. Her funeral took place at the M. E. Church at Wesley Chapel by the Rev. Colgan, of Holgate, after which her remains were interred in the Cole cemetery.

How well we remember but a few summers ago when the flower budded and blossomed and sent their fragrance to perfume the balmy morning of May that Rhoda's cheeks like the roses, then fresh and promising to bloom for many summers; but alas, as the wintry winds blew over the barren mountains her cheeks, as the roses, faded away to bloom in the city of the living God, and may her remains rest in hope of a glorious resurrection.
