After long and severe illness Mrs. Mary Rakestraw, wife of Mr. Oscar Rakestraw of the firm of Reeder & Rakestraw, departed this life on the afternoon of the 4th day of July. Mrs. Rakestraw was a daughter of Jacob Bales, an old and respected citizen of Henry county, and was a lady oi amiable disposition and loved by many friends. She leaves a husband and two children to mourn their loss. Her funeral took place from the M. E. Church on yesterday afternoon, Rev. J. Zook conducting the services.
