The Toledo Blade is trying to make party capital out of the late sad affair at Laurens, S. C. It is our understanding that Mr. VOLNEY POWELL, whose death is deplored by all persons here, is the only one certainly killed. But there is no party capital for the Republicans in the affair, and they had as well drop it. It would gratify us much to learn that all the Napoleon boys are unhurt, and that they had resolved to come home, or, at least, do something else, than pull Gov. SCOTT's chestnuts out of the fire.
