B. W. Pennock, an old and respected resident of this county, died at his home in Liberty Center on the 25th inst. after a long and painful illness. He was the father of Postmaster Pennock, of Liberty, and had in his life among us held several positions of trust in the gift of the people. He was an uncompromising Democrat, and before his infirmities took hold of him was a leader in his party. His funeral took place on Tuesday, at 2 o'clock p. m., the remains being followed to the grave by numerous friends and relatives.
