Obituary: Pellatier. The sudden death of Mrs. Pellatier, formerly Mrs. John Jones, cast a deep gloom over her entire circle of friends and acquaintances. Lucy Walls, daughter of Dan. Walls, of Albany, was born in Ridgeville, Henry county, Ohio. She was the second of a family of four daughters; Eliza, Lucy, Belle and Beth Ann. Eliza died when but a child. Her little grave was one of the first in the Ridgeville cemetery. Belle died last autumn at Napoleon. Anna, alone is left. Lucy married John Jones, in 1854; he died at Ayrsville, Defiance county, several years ago. She married again to Mr. Pellatier, their home was at Latta. On January 10th, Mrs. P. in company with a lady friend went to Paulding Center, on a shopping tour. After they had returned to the station to take the train for home, Mrs. P. was taken suddenly ill and said, "I guess I overdone this time," and died in a few minutes. Her funeral took place at Ridgeville, Jan. 12th, where a large number of friends followed the remains to their last resting place. She leaves a husband and children to mourn their loss of a wife and mother. May God be with them in their affliction, and comfort their hearts in this their time of need. C |
