PATTERSON On the 26th of December, 1890, in Damascus township, Henry county, O., of lung fever, William R. Patterson, aged 66 years, 2 months and 9 days.

He was born in Fairfield county, O.; was married to Sarah Monser on the 2nd of February, 1852, with whom he lived almost 39 years He leaves his aged companion, seven children and nine grand children to mourn the loss of a kind husband, and a good father Although he was not a member of any church he was the friend of Christianity; loved and highly respected by his neighbors.

Funeral services were held in Christian Union church on the 28th, u. l. t., conducted by the Rev. J. W. Myers, witnessed by a large gathering of the people.
