Thos. Palmer of Defiance was found dead in a box car at Toledo on Saturday night last. Ugly cuts and bruises were found upon the body, pointing to foul play. He may have been murdered at Defiance and placed in the car, as the car came from there that day. The dead man was a widower and has a brother living at Jewell.
