John Palmer, an old and respected citizen of this county, died at his residencenear Napoleon on Wednesday evening last. He had been sick for some time, but was convalescing, when a relapse came which proved fatal. His funeral took place from the M. E. Church on Friday, which was attended by a large number of friends. Mr. Palmer had his life insured for $4,000, which will be paid to his family.
