Robert L. Oatman died at his home in Napoleon, Henry county, Ohio, Dec. 22d, 1881, of quick consumption, aged 30 years, 6 months and 11 days. He leaves a wife and two children. Robert was one of the most gentle and kind hearted of men. His death will be sincerely mourned by a large circle of relatives and friends, and the many noble traits of his character will be remembered long after his body has dissolved itself into native dust. His remains were taken to Ebensburg, Cambria county, Pa., and interredfrom the residence of his brother, M. L. Oatman, on December 25th, Christmas day, 1881.
