Early Tuesday morning Coroner Cloud was notified that a woman bad been found dead in a well in Marion tp., about three miles south of Holgate. Taking Dr. Powell with him the Coroner repaired to the spot and there found Mrs. Mary Nick, daughter of Frederick Spangler, dead as reported. Alter examining into the cause of the death the Coroner returned a verdict that deceased came to her death by drowning. It seems that Mrs. Nick was a subject to epileptic fits and was seized with one of them while in the act of drawing water and fell into the well.
