Probate Judge Newell of Wauseon died at Lakeside Inst week. He was a brother-in-law of Judge Handy. He served in the army and left a leg on the battle field as an evidence that his brave heart was faithful to the cause even to death if necessary. He was a minister of the gospel serving in the M. E. Church, and was also an able and efficient teacher in the public schools of Fulton county. His remains were brought home on the fast train Thursday afternoon and the funeral held Friday.
