Obituary: Musgrove. On his 13th anniversary, April 10th, 1885, alter a short illness, Jay, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Musgrove, of Colton, O. Jay was unusually bright and intelligent for one of his years, standing high in his classes, tenderly beloved at home and by all who knew him, be endeared himself to all with whom he associated, by his manly bearing, upright character, and sweet disposition. His friends regret that this bright, interesting bud of promise, should so soon be taken from earth. The home of Jay will be lonely indeed, much of its bright sunshine and joy bas gone out with the early departure of the first born. But truly Heaven will seem nearer, brighter, and better, since it is the borne of little Jay. Well do the parents know that their loss is Heaven's gain. God bless and comfort the bereaved parents and two sisters, as He alone can. The funeral service was held at the Church under the auspices of the Church of God, of which his parents are worthy members. During his illness the family were kindly and substantially remembered by the good people of Colton and vicinity. The parents are truly grateful for the many favors and tokens of regard so lavishly bestowed in their house of trial. The Lord reward them ever more abundantly. A Friend. |
