Obituary: MURRY -- On the 11th of June, 1887, in Flatrock township, Henry county, of heart disease, James E. Murry, aged 44 years. The deceased was as well as usual on Saturday morning and went out with a horse to plow corn; very soon the horse was seen in an unusual condition with the appearance of some one drawing upon the lines. On going into the field they saw Mr. Murry lying with his face upon the ground, dead. He was a son of Mr. George Murry, formerly of Harrison township, this county, now deceased, and for many years he resided in said township; was married to a daughter of Mr, Smith, of Harrison township, Henry county, Ohio. His body was brought to the Brick Church, in Harrison township, where the funeral services was held on 12th by Rev. J. W. Myers; a very large number of sympathizing friends followed his remains to the silent grave. J. W. M. McClure, June 14. |
