Obituary:

Murry -- On the 19th of December 1882, in Harrison township, Henry county, Ohio, very sudden and unexpected, Sarah, wife of Joseph Murry, aged 64 years, 5 months and 6 days. She arose on the morning of the 19th in her usual health and entered upon the active duties of the day, but soon took suddenly ill, and in a few brief hours her immortal spirit left the house of clay for that land where the weary shall eternally rest. But though failing thus suddenly, she was like the ripe shock of grain, ready and waiting to be gathered in the garner of the Lord. She was in the highest sense of the term a Christian wife, mother and neighbor. If she possessed one virtue above another, it was that of Christian charity. Hence she willingly and even cheerfully endured a large share of the toils and privations of life to increase and add to the happiness of others. She leaves an aged husband and only daughter, with a large circle of relatives to mourn their loss, which is no doubt her eternal gain. And though the day was inclement, yet a large number of persons witnessed the funeral service and followed her to the silent resting place of the dead. McClure, Dec. 22, 1882. JOHN W. MYERS.
