Chas. Mowery, who it will be remembered received a pistol shot in a drunken row on Thanksgiving night at Florida, died at the residence of his father-in-law, Dr. H. McHenry, in this place on Friday last. The shot had severed an artery, and the wound never healed. He had been at death's door on several occasions from hemorrhage, and it was in the attempt of physicians to take the artery up that he died from loss of blood.
