DEATH OF J. W. MILLER. Although the ill-heath of Mr. J. W. Miller, of the Miller House of this place, was generally known, his death at Eaton Rapids. Mich., on Monday was quite a shock to the community. Mr. Miller had been in poor health for some time, and bad gone to Eaton Rapids expecting to be benefitted, but instead of improving he got worse until death relieved aim on the above date. His wife was with him at the time of his demise, she having been summoned to his bedside the latter part of last week. In the death of Mr. Miller this community has lost an enterprising and valued citizen, one who had done his full share towards improving the place, and while he may have had his faults, as all humanity has, he was a kind and indulgent parent and possessed of many good qualities. He was in the 59th year of his age. The funeral took place yesterday from his late residence, services at the house by Rev. M. L. Donahey. His stricken family have the sympathy of the entire community.
