Mrs. Wilhelmina Metzel, mother of Mrs. Chas. Evers, died very suddenly at the home of her son-in-law, ex-auditor, Evers, yesterday morning at about 5 o'clock. Mrs. Metzel had a severe attack of the grippe, which culminated in pneumonia and ultimate death. She was an old lady much respected and loved by those who knew her, and was aged 74 years, 6 months and 6 days. The funeral will take place Friday afternoon.
