SAD ACCIDENT -- We deeply regret to say that the eldest son, about fourteen years of age, of our esteemed fellow citizen JOHN C. McLAIN, Esq., shot and killed himself on Friday morning last. He was making ready to go hunting, and pushing the hammer of the [smudged] to blow on it, the hammer slipped and the ball lodged in his head. Mr. McLAIN will have the sympathies of the whole people of Henry county.
