MAIRS. On the 1st day of September, 1892, in Damascus township, Henry County, Ohio, John G. Mairs, aged 62 years. 2 months and 22 days. The deceased was born in Wirtemburg, Germany, on the 10th of June, 1830. While young he came with his parents to Pennsylvania. Some years after they removed to Henry county, Ohio, and in April, 1869, be was married to Miss Sarah Beyer, and soon after moved upon the farm where he died. He was the father of three sons who live to assist and comfort their mother in her sorrow and loneliness. A large gathering assembled at Christian Church to attend the funeral Services were conducted by Rev. Matthews, assisted by J. W. Myers, after which the body was conveyed to McClure Cemetery and laid away to await the resurrection morn.
