The Putnam County Sentinel says: We learn that on the 24th ultimo, a son of Mr. Lozier, who resides in Monterey township, this county, was instantly crushed to death under a piece of timber. It appears that the boy was was aged only 7 years, was riding on a piece of ship-timber which was being dragged along, when hi in some manner fell under the timber, and was instantly killed.
