Obituary: DIED at the residence of her parents, in Richfield Tp.. Henry county, O., Hattie, daughter of F. I. and L. E. Lebay, aged 11 years, 4 months and 9 days. She leaves a father, mother, 3 sisters and 4 brothers to weep and mourn in silence o'er their loss. Two hands crossed upon the breast, and labors done. Two feet crossed in rest, the race is won. Funeral services were conducted in the M. E. Church by Rev. J. W. Myers, assisted by Rev. Bender. The remains were interred in the Beaver Creek cemetery, there to await the final call on the resurrection morn. Therefore, be it resolved that we fitly sympathize with the relatives and friends, who so kindly administered to her waste in affliction and death, and try to meet Hattie in heaven where parties will be no more, for sooner or later we most all pass through the shadow of the valley and stand before the great white throne. Observer, West Hope, Oct. 17th, 1887. |
