Death of Tobias Knipp.

We are called upon this week to announce the death of Tobias Knipp, of Monroe township. He died at his residence early on the morning of the 1st inst., at the ripe old age of 75 years and 2 months, after an illness of a little over a week. Mr. Knipp has long been a respected citizen of this county, having removed here from Crawford county in the year 1848, and was recognized as one of the best and most thrifty farmers of the county. He moved to this county on the day of the Presidential election in 1848, having cast his vote in Crawford county before leaving; in politics he was an uncompromising Democrat, and an influential member of his party. He was born on the 1st day of February, 1814, and died on the 1st day ot April, 1889. His funeral took place on yesterday, his remains being followed to the grave by a large concourse of relatives and friends.
